Raja Robert Wynne, Raja (Administrator) of Maharishi Vedic City, the first Vedic City in the world, has been working with great diligence over the past two years to bring Maharishi's Vedic Pandits to Iowa, USA. He reported recently on the Maharishi Global Family Chat that the goal of providing 1050 Vedic Pandits for America is very near at hand. The Vedic Pandits make a very special contribution to the Invincible America Assembly through their participation in group practice of Yogic Flying, and their very powerful and unique daily Vedic performances to enliven coherence in world consciousness.*
On 6 September, the day of Raja Wynne's report, there were 925 Vedic Pandits, with 125 due to arrive in the coming two weeks.
Raja Wynne's presentation included film footage and slides of the Vedic Pandit campus, where construction has been moving at an incredible pace. A new four-acre lake had been put in which was long enough to allow every building to have water to the north-east—an auspicious feature according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda which have guided all aspects of construction. Video footage showed 33 large houses providing living space for 660 Vedic Pandits, and large assembly halls of 10,000 square feet [929 square metres] which will be used for Yogic Flying.
Raja Wynne congratulated everyone who had organized and supported the construction, which had increased by 96,000 square feet within 2 ½ months. He noted that the 660-person facility was equal to the 400th largest city in Iowa; a remarkable achievement given the rapid pace of construction.
'The entire campus', Raja Wynne said, 'is equal to the 250th largest city in Iowa, meaning that there are 500 cities smaller than the Vedic Pandit compound!' The design includes gardens, parks, and pagodas.
Raja Wynne expressed an immediate need for six more buildings which will provide an ideal setting for the daily Vedic performances. According to the Vedic tradition, the number of the Vedic Pandits is very specific for each type of performance. Their performances enliven specific aspects of Natural Law, described as Devata in the Vedic Literature. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, has brought to light that the Vedic Devata are the Laws of Nature that organize the entire universe and maintain it in perfect order. So each of the new buildings will be designated for Vedic performances to enliven particular Devata**.
Raja Wynne invited well-wishers of peace and invincibility for the United States and the world who would like to support the construction of these six buildings to contact him at RajaWynneOffice@GlobalCountry.net, or by telephone at (US country code)1 312 324 0291. He was pleased to announce that support for two of the buildings has already been achieved.
* When the full contingent of 1050 Maharishi Vedic Pandits is in residence, this will ensure at least 2,000 Yogic Flyers practising together morning and evening on the Invincible America Assembly in Maharishi Vedic City and Maharishi University of Management in nearbly Fairfield, Iowa—the threshold number Maharishi established as the requirement to create invincibility for the United States.
