Brazil: David Lynch tour inspires continuing progress

Speaking 20 August 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Robert Roth, National Director of Expansion for the Global Country of World Peace in the United States, reported on new developments in Brazil resulting from the recent eight-day tour of the country by filmmaker Dr David Lynch and singer Donovan.

Almost every day since the tour, Brazil's two National Directors for the Global Country of World Peace, have reported updates on the impact of Dr Lynch's visit.

In just the last few days, a high education official in the state government expressed to the National Directors the hope of bringing Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique to one million students in regions surrounding the city.

In addition, several industry leaders in Brazil have taken steps towards introducing the Maharishi Corporate Development Programme among their employees.

'The Brazilian tour brought great hope that our activities in spreading Maharishi's knowledge and programmes are bearing fruit,' said Dr Roth, in conclusion.
