Raja Bjarne Landsfeldt, Raja of Denmark for the Global Country of World Peace, recently spoke about rising coherence and invincibility in the nation as reflected in reports from the press.
Speaking on the Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Bjarne said the Danish press has been reporting news of Denmark's peaceful outlook regarding arctic resources, a booming level of innovation and creativity in the nation, and Denmark's leading role in avoiding waste and pollution.
The Danish Foreign Minister recently met leaders from Norway, Canada, Russia, the United States, and Greenland regarding the natural resources of the arctic to urge them to abide by the United Nations rules on territorial claims, Raja Bjarne said. According to estimates, the region could hold as much as one quarter of the world's remaining undiscovered oil and gas deposits. The meeting was intended to send a clear message that Denmark intends to follow rules laid out by the United Nations and solve any differences in accordance with international law.
The press also recently reported that Denmark is the most family-friendly country in Europe. According to an international organization, Denmark spends about four per cent of the Gross National Product on families in the form of benefits that help young families. This is compared to the European average of about two per cent. The Chairman of the organization's European division said that Denmark is a pioneer when it comes to supporting young families, and added that statistically there was a connection between good benefits and high birth rates. The nation's birth rate is high in comparison with other European countries, Raja Bjarne said.
The press has also reported that Danish applications for international patents on climate-friendly energy solutions have more than doubled over the past few years. There were 48 in 2002, and 108 this year, Raja Bjarne said. Of these 108 applications, the majority were for innovations in wind power, followed by waste combustion and biomass. This increase is proof of Denmark's technological competence, and indicates a high level of innovation.
Raja Bjarne concluded with news that the latest statistics show that reuse and recycling in Denmark is at 70 per cent. These statistics show that over the years, the population has not only become better at reuse, but also deposits less in landfills. This 'clearly indicates that we have gained a lot of expertise in managing waste so that it causes the least possible burden on the whole environment', the Danish Minister for the environment was quoted as saying in a press report.
Commenting on Raja Bjarne's talk, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, said, 'Denmark is number one in the world in wind energy in terms of the percentage of national energy that comes from that renewable source.' He went on to say that 'in every way the Danish national consciousness is rising to be more in harmony with Natural Law and less wasteful. So this is a very, very good sign [and] . . . an indicator of the rising purity of the collective consciousness which is an inspiration and example to other nations of the world.'
Dr Morris also noted that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had said that the way Denmark takes care of the children of the country and looks after the young families is a clear indication of what a civilized nation Denmark is.
All this positive news, Dr Morris concluded, is 'a direct expression of the rising coherence of the whole collective consciousness of the nation created by Raja Bjarne, and by the National Director, the Directors, the [Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Technique], the Yogic Flyers, and the meditators of the nation.'
