Following the traditional Vedic ceremony for entering the new Maharishi Sthapatya Veda home of Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of India, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, spoke in more detail about this Vedic ceremony.

Please also see Part I and Part II of this article.

Dr Morris began by paying tribute to Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Architecture for the Global Country of World Peace, the 'living embodiment in our world of the perfection of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, who has brought both his own artistic genius and his absolute devotion to the perfection of the application of the principles by which the whole universe is constructed—the principles of Sthapatya Veda—to the building of this house in Meru, Netherlands.

'Thanks to Dr Hartmann, not only for the construction of this building, but also for his devotion to these principles that has enabled us to reach such a level of perfection in providing the housing both to our Rajas, and to any one on earth—that they could have maximum happiness, health, and good fortune from the ideal design of their building.'

Dr Morris said that the Raja of India, Raja Harris, and Dr Arlene Kaplan, for whom the house was built, had told him Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, was deeply involved with every decision about the basic design of this house, and just as Dr Hartmann 'has always been doing all these long years of service . . . he could take any impulse of what Maharishi said and provide the most beautiful balanced, ideal expression of Maharishi's thought.

'So this building is very much designed by Cosmic Law, by Maharishi himself, and then the application of that through the genius of our great Dr Eike Hartmann,' Dr Morris said.

Maharishi was also directly involved with the interior design of the house, so every aspect and every phase of the design was something Maharishi lovingly attended to and guided. 'This is another level of understanding of why the Peace Palace of the Raja of Invincible India is as glorious and powerful as it is today,' Dr Morris continued. Raja Harris and Dr Arlene Kaplan followed in every fine detail the requirements of the principles of Sthapatya Veda for establishing life on the level of Totality.

Dr Morris then explained that the five Veda involved in this most extraordinary ceremony for entering the house involved Rk, Sama, Yajur, and Atharva Veda (there are two aspects of Yajur Veda, making five in all). The Vedic Pandits at the Global Capital of Raam Raj at the Brahma-Sthan [auspicious central area] of India performed the ceremony for the Vedic 'warming of the house' in Holland (connected via videoconference), which was over four hours in length.

Dr Morris added that after the celebration Raja Harris Kaplan 'had called the Vedic Pandits on the telephone right there on the stage in India, where they were still just gathering up their things to go, and he spoke to the chief Vedic Pandit of the Vedic performance, and praised him so highly along with all the Vedic Pandits. They did a wonderful job over those many hours.'

Some of the Vedic Pandits had travelled all the way from south India to the Brahma-Sthan. They had been in Meru, Holland, for many years in the past, and were experts in Sama Veda. So 'this was a very strong and powerful group of Vedic Pandits gathered there especially for this performance,' said Dr Morris.

The chief Vedic Pandit in India had said a very interesting thing—when he was listening to the Vedic Pandits at the Brahma-Sthan, they themselves had never participated before in such a performance of all five Veda for the opening of a house. This was unique to them also in their whole life as Vedic Pandits.

'This was the most special and extraordinary performance that they had ever seen done for the entering of a house like that,' said Dr Morris.

Global Good News will continue with Dr Morris's address tomorrow.
