Speaking recently on the Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, reported expansion of the Invincible America Assembly in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA and expressed optimism that the number of Yogic Flyers would soon reach the goal of 2,500.
'What we have is a very significant power already,' said Dr Morris of the Assembly, which currently constitutes a group of 1,550 Yogic Flyers in the morning, and 1,800 in the afternoon. These numbers will soon increase, however, as 250 more Maharishi Vedic Pandits arrive in Maharishi Vedic City. Dr Morris expressed hope that the number of Vedic Pandits would increase by another 200, thereby bringing the number of Yogic Flyers still closer to the goal Maharishi had set of 2,500.
'The challenge then becomes housing,' he continued. Currently, Raja Robert Wynne is working intensively to gather investment for expansion of Pandit housing in Maharishi Vedic City. 'The housing would accommodate new Vedic Pandits, as well as those already residing on the Maharishi University of Management (MUM) campus.' The new housing, which Raja Wynne projects will be completed in a couple months, will allow the number of Yogic Flyers to reach 2,200 on a daily basis.
'There are 22,000 Yogic Flyers in America,' said Dr Morris. 'We need more to come and join the Assembly as soon as possible, and for more students [at MUM] to learn the Yogic Flying technique as well.' He hopes that by the first Tuesday in November, when the general election is held for the Presidency of the United States, the purity of collective consciousness will allow for a new caliber of leadership, reflecting that level of consciousness.
