'A complete miracle', is how Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Invincible Holland for the Global Country of World Peace, described the progress in his country within the last two years since Holland achieved invincibility on 12 April 2006.
'We looked at the statistics for 2006 and could speak of a miraculous change in our nation. We wondered what would 2007 be like? Could the success continue? Two weeks ago I collected all the statistics from the Central Bureau of Statistics and found that the miracle repeated itself in 2007,' Dr Gelderloos said, when reporting recently on the Maharishi Channel.
He went on to summarize evidence of a booming economy, which has enjoyed its greatest growth since 2000. Holland is experiencing a trade surplus, and is ranked the third largest exporter in the European Union, after the much larger nations of Germany and France. Every area of the economy appears to be thriving, including very low annual inflation, especially compared with the rest of Europe, low unemployment, low debt levels, fewer corporate and individual bankruptcies, growth in retail revenue, high disposable income, etc.
Speaking about the quality of life in Holland, Dr Gelderloos cited statistics reflecting a very high level of well-being both for the individual and the country as a whole. He mentioned higher levels of education being achieved by more people, crime reduction, decrease in traffic fatalities, increase in sales in the organic food market, fewer people smoking and drinking heavily, less obesity. Dutch people are living longer and fewer are emigrating. Interestingly, Dr Gelderloos also remarked that new people immigrating to Holland were being made welcome and were accepted and integrated into the nation, whereas previously there had been some resistance to migrants.
Concluding his summary, Dr Gelderloos expressed his warmest congratulations and gave all the credit to the 450 or more Yogic Flyers who gather twice daily for group practice at various venues around the country. 'These groups are using the technologies for creating peace which Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has made available to all of us. They are responsible for the rising coherence in national consciousness, leading to a better quality of life for everyone in Holland and invincibility for our nation,' Dr Gelderloos said.
