On 6 April 2008 Times of India reported:
A Vedic City for ladies will soon be established in India by the Global Mother Divine Organization. The city will feature buildings constructed according to the principles of Maharishi Vedic Architecture, a Maharishi Vedic Spa, and Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture; plans also include the possibility of establishing the first Maharishi University of Enlightenment in India.

fulfilment to the field of world peace.
The Global Mother Divine Organization, the ladies' wing of the Global Country of World Peace, plans to establish the city near Ahmedabad, which is 'one of the safest cities for women' according to the Times of India.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes are not new to this city, which is known for its high 'quality of life', the article stated. There are already 5,000 practitioners of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique in the city as well as Vastu homes. 'We already have Meditator farmhouses and Vastu homes in Sanand and now plan a 12,000-square-foot Raj Health Spa at Ambawadi with [a] residential facility,' the Times of India quoted a leader of the Global Mother Divine Organization as saying.
