Continuing his presentation—which was featured in the Global Good News article 'Invincibility for the Netherlands through Consciousness-Based Education and Maharishi Vedic Health'—Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of the Global Country of World Peace for Holland, reported on the success of several one-day seminars, including one on Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
Speaking on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Gelderloos said that this symposium was attended by about 250 people who had left their contact information at trade shows, and developers and architects from various associations.
Dr Gelderloos presented a slide show of the symposium, which included the one-hour lecture of Raja (Administrator) Dr John Hagelin. His lecture explains Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, and 'the blueprint of the universe', which describes the structure of the Unified Field, its relation to Veda and to the human body, and how the universal law of Natural Law expresses itself in time and space; how this has a direct impact on our health in terms of our physical functioning and also in terms of building physical structures.
'It was quite a long [session] for many of the people, but they were very much impressed by the profundity of the knowledge,' said Dr Gelderloos.
Afterwards there was a lecture of Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Global Reconstruction for the Global Country of World Peace. This was a very practical lecture in which Dr Hartmann explained that about 50 per cent of all diseases and all societal problems come from wrong living, wrong houses, and wrong offices. 'He made quite a big impact on the audience there, although the presentation was also on videotape,' Dr Gelderloos said.
At the symposium there was also a presentation on Maharishi Sthapatya Veda architecture by the project leader for a Peace Colony*. Dr Gelderloos said they have an area of 50 hectares where they want to build 150 Maharishi Sthapatya Veda houses of all sizes, as well as apartments. There will also be a Maharishi School, a Maharishi Ayur-Veda clinic, and a restaurant. It will be a place where all 12 Directors can live near each other and also have an office together.
They will soon be holding a second symposium, for which participants will be policy makers, decision-makers of the government, project developers, architects, builders, and other building professionals.
Dr Gelderloos then spoke about the Director for Defence for the Global Country in Holland, who has been very dynamic in inspiring individuals to participate in the group practice of Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying—not only on weekends, but also every day of the week. 'Now he's going to put all his energy into having 100 people permanently in the Dome in Lelystad, for really securing Invincibility for Holland,' said Dr Gelderloos.
Similar groups of Yogic Flyers are also being set up in Utrecht, Amsterdam, and The Hague. 'So we are very happy to see them [those practising the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme] take their responsibility' for the nation.
Dr Gelderloos said that all the projects for invincibility are receiving great support, even from those not practising Transcendental Meditation.
'So I'm sitting back and feeling very comfortable, because this is what Maharishi has been emphasizing. We are an administration of Silence. We just have to have a very clear focus, our Sankalpa [intention]. It still means work, but being established in our deepest Self.'
