Recently returned to Maharishi Vedic City, Dr Robert Wynne, Raja of New Zealand and Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, reported on the numbers of Vedic Pandits now living as a large family in Maharishi Vedic City.

Raja Wynne said that it was a great joy to be back in Maharishi Vedic City where there are now 632 Vedic Pandits, including the 85 that arrived recently. Raja Wynne said he was very impressed with the depth of silence now in Maharishi Vedic City and Fairfield, Iowa, USA. He said that the Vedic civilization on the Vedic Pandit campus is now even stronger, because there is the additional spirit of family there: the Vedic Pandits have become a family.

It has become 'the Vedic tradition of family, the way they are so relaxed with each other and how they react with each other,' said Raja Wynne. 'And the citizens of Maharishi Vedic City, who attend the different Yagya performances, the Pandits have brought us in as part of the family, and the feeling is indescribable. But those who come here can experience that.'

Raja Wynne said that another 400 Vedic Pandits will be coming soon, so that there will then be over 1,000 Vedic Pandits in the United States at Maharishi Vedic City. With the Invincible America Assembly taking place at Maharishi University of Management, two miles from Vedic City, Raja Wynne said that the invincibility of the United States is assured.

Raja Wynne explained that the Vedic Pandits are practising Yogic Flying, and 'the rest of the time there are very large Yagyas taking place, very large performances with 150 Vedic Pandits at a time. There are now 10 different performances going on every day, here and on the Maharishi University of Management campus.'

Raja Wynne also explained that for the Vedic Pandits' practice of Yogic Flying, which is essential to contribute to the Maharishi Effect for national invincibility—the Pandits have to be physically present in the large group in this country; in addition, their Vedic performances (Yagyas), have a further influence that may occur anywhere in the world, even though these performances are actually being done in the United States.
