Continuing his talk, featured in Part I of this article, Dr Harris Kaplan, Raja (Administrator) of India for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on his recent tour of the Maharishi Peace Palaces, many Maharishi Schools*, and impressive progress in many areas, on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat—which is broadcast daily via satellite and over the Internet on Channel 3 of the Maharishi Channel. He concluded by extending an invitation to India.

Dr Kaplan described the tour of the Bhopal Peace Palace, with its beautiful marble floors, and exquisitely ornamented glasswork. The Peace Palace features painted ornamentation along the tops of walls and ceilings, and a separate video-audio centre next door. The building is designed to be completely replicatable as well as extremely inexpensive, Dr Kaplan said.

In the Brahmasthan** of India, Dr Kaplan said, the work on the Global Capital of Raam Raj is on a scale so massive that, 'no pictures do justice to the reality.' Where there was absolutely nothing, 'now there are so many buildings in so many areas that it takes 40 minutes just to drive from one part of it to another.

'People have to come and see it,' Dr Kaplan said. 'The buildings have gone up; and even the river has come up to the buildings where Maharishi wanted it to be.' It will be built in four stages: with royal housing and infrastructure first for 4,000 Vedic Pandits, then 7,000 Vedic Pandits, then 16,000 and finally 32,000. In one area, 70 buildings, each the size of the acclaimed Ayur-Vedic Spa, The Raj, in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA are going up at once.

Dr Kaplan noted that each building is built in accordance with Maharishi Sthapatya Veda construction with its own Vastu fence; and that everywhere there is, 'endless construction, endless activity, and an endless level of bliss as truckloads of marble keep coming in. The Raja's homes are in a mango grove with a pond in front.

Plans are to have a suite for each Pandit, and a cow for every four to five Pandits. Each cow—the best in India—is transported there from Rajasthan. Since there are rules about how many cows can be moved together, and their level of comfort, half of the cost for each cow is in relocating them to the site. One visiting saint told the Pandits that the heavenly care the Pandits were receiving at the Global Capital of Raam Raj was unheard of in recorded history, and urged them to appreciate it keenly.

Dr Kaplan also described a visit to Jabalpur with its beautiful Maharishi Sthapatya Veda homes—the beginning of large Vedic Peace Colonies—and the visit to the first prototype Peace Palace.

Dr Kaplan concluded by saying that that 'We have never before seen such an openness and thirst for Maharishi's knowledge,' and he invited people to contact him about visiting India and taking part in this great initiative to completely re-create Vedic India. He invited groups to come and help continue the projects that have been begun. 'On behalf of everyone who feels a deep connection to India, to our great Indian [Transcendental Meditation] Movement', he pledged to do everything possible to help re-create the truly Vedic India that Maharishi envisioned and began to create.

**Brahmasthan: Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Global Reconstruction of the Global Country of World Peace, recently explained that 'the centre point of a country has a very special and precious quality of balance and unifying wholeness. In the Vedic language, the central place is called Brahmasthan, and from here, the wholeness of life could be administered according to the Constitution of the Universe, the Will of God, that silently administers the entire ever-expanding galactic universe in perfect order and harmony.
