27 February 2008
The final event of the Memorial Ceremonies for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was held on the evening of 20 February, 2008, at the Ashram of the Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math in Allahabad. Among the many guests and dignitaries gathered for the ceremony was Mr Ashok Singhal, President of the Vishnu Hindu Parishad, the largest Hindu association in India.
In the presence of leaders of the Global Country of World Peace, Mr Singhal joyfully recounted the story of his first meeting with Maharishi, many years ago. Mr Singhal relayed how Maharishi met with him for 28 continuous hours and gave him 'all pure knowledge'.
He further commented 'that all that he had learned from his own Guru [spiritual teacher] was confirmed by Maharishi in those 28 hours.' Mr Singhal informed the group that his organization's 75,000 committees are a mighty force working to preserve the Vedic tradition of India.
Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, applauded Mr Singhal's life's work and related it to the research of Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam.
Dr Morris announced a new book by Raja Raam, inspired by Maharishi, on the Ramayan in the human physiology.
'This new book will address the Ramayan in all its aspects: the story of Raam, Raam Brahm Paramarat Rupa—Raam is the embodiment of Brahm [Totality]—and how the story of Raam is found in all its aspects in the human physiology,' the Prime Minister said. He also mentioned that many people on the Invincible America Assembly are having the experience of Veda in Human Physiology, in their own consciousness.
