In honor of three very auspicious days in the Vedic Calendar, a special three-day series of global celebrations is in progress, with Vedic Pandits broadcast live on the Maharishi Channel by satellite and on the Internet, concluding on Friday 9 November with the Day of Mahalakshmi, Dipavali, the Festival of Lights.

Friday's live global broadcast is scheduled to begin at 6:30 AM US Central Time (USCT), and 1:30 PM Central European Time (CET).

To watch the celebration and replays online, please visit: Maharishi Channel—channel 3. Please check the Maharishi Channel home page at for updates on the schedule and replays.

The Day of Mahalakshmi is one of the most important days of the year in the Vedic calendar. Mahalakshmi is that impulse of Creative Intelligence in Nature that is responsible for wealth, prosperity, growth, and affluence. On this day that element in Nature whose Creative Intelligence represents all possibilities, prosperity, and fulfilment is most lively.

The first day's celebration of Dhanvantari Day was held on 7 November, featuring a live broadcast with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, speaking from MERU, Holland, and Vedic Pandits in India performing traditional Vedic recitations. (please visit the Global Good News article: 'Maharishi Mahesh Yogi celebrates the Vedic Day of Dhanvantari'.)

The second day, 8 November, included the global celebration of Hanuman Jayanti. This beautiful celebration included Guru Puja (Vedic ceremony of gratitude) with Maharishi, followed by a beautiful one-hour address by Maharishi on the value of Hanuman as the embodiment of Kriya Shakti—the power of action. Maharishi's address will also be featured in Global Good News in the coming days.

The first replay of the Hanuman Jayanti celebration started immediately after the live broadcast and will continue until the live Maharishi Global Family Chat.

The second replay starts after the live Maharishi Global Family Chat at 3:30 PM US Central Time (USCT) and 10:30 PM Central Europe Time (CET).

The third replay of the Hanuman celebration will follow at 8:00 PM USCT, 3:00 AM CET.

In Vedic Civilization—civilization in accord with Natural Law—every day is a celebration of the Divine within man. With the dawn of each new day, a different quality of Nature's Intelligence awakens within us.

Each day is influenced by the movements of the planets, stars—the whole galactic universe—and it is the Laws of Nature that give this direction to time—each day, each hour, each minute, each second.

All of the Laws of Nature are described in the ancient Vedic texts as Devata—impulses of Creative Intelligence—lively in every grain of creation.

For example, the day in the Vedic Calendar with the quality of Creative Intelligence expressed as Dhanvantari is associated with perfect health and immortality. The day with the quality of Creative Intelligence expressed by the name Mahalakshmi is associated with the quality of fullness, affluence—infinite intelligence and creativity that constitutes the nature of the Unified Field, which evolved the life of the entire cosmos.

Every day is a celebration in the Vedic Calendar year. Every day is different from every other day—the rising sun, the setting sun, the moon's phases, the influence of the planets, and the influence of the near and distant stars.

The values of Creative Intelligence celebrated in the Vedic Calendar are Nature's Intelligence that characterize the specific qualities of the days, months, and changing seasons. Celebrating these qualities of Nature's Intelligence means enlivening them in one's self and one's environment, and when these values are enlivened, everything in life blossoms in its fullness.

It is a physical phenomenon that attention enlivens the object of attention; therefore attention on the fine impulses of intelligence—celebrating those values—enlivens them and they enrich life. Enlivening them in one's self and one's environment, everything in life blossoms in its fullness.
