A new book, giving a straightforward and comprehensive introduction to Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique, has been written in French by two teachers of Transcendental Meditation in France. It is the first French book about Transcendental Meditation to come out in 20 years, and was inspired by the nation's increased interest in TM as a result of filmmaker David Lynch* recently receiving the highest honour in France—the Legion of Honour—personally presented by President Sarkozy.
Topics covered in the book include the history of the technique; the benefits for every area of individual life and every area of society; applications in schools, the military, and corporations; and charts presenting scientific research on the technique. The book also includes information about the advanced TM-Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, and Maharishi Vedic Agriculture.
This delightful and insightful book will be translated into other languages and will be followed by a book on Invincibility.
*David Lynch has been practising the Transcendental Meditation Technique for over thirty years and is the founder of the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace. Recently, he has been touring countries throughout the world, presenting the benefits of Transcendental Meditation for students.
