Mother Divine Programme around the world celebrates 26th anniversary - Part I

On 31 August 2007, the Mother Divine(sm) Programme celebrated the 26th anniversary of its founding.

'Mother Divine' refers to the nourishing, evolutionary power of Natural Law lively within all of creation and within the silent consciousness of everyone. The Mother Divine Programme, inaugurated in 1981, is an advanced programme to allow ladies the opportunity to deepen their experiences of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programmes, including Yogic Flying, and enliven 24-hour bliss in daily life; and to create large, permanent coherence-creating groups to radiate a powerful influence of harmony and bliss throughout the whole world.

During the global celebrations on 31 August, groups of Mother Divine around the world, assembled by videoconference, enjoyed a beautiful address by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, speaking from the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland.

Maharishi discussed the achievements and role of this special group in light of the programmes and initiatives of the Global Country of World Peace to bring invincibility to every nation.

'It's a very matured day for us to enjoy,' Maharishi said. 'Twenty-six layers of yearly achievement? If that is the case, then Mother Divine is very powerful today. That must be the reason why we are bubbling with such great enthusiasm to make every country invincible. This is the strength, quiet strength, natural affection, of Mother Divine for the children of the world.

'If that is the case—as is obvious from our own enthusiasm to create invincible nations in all our 192 countries—all the preparations for us to have started our programme to create an invincible family of nations have already [been] done, and we have celebrated, on the global level, the first month of our preparations. 'In the first month of preparations we have about 48 countries to construct Towers of Invincibility: so many countries. Now today, I am thinking of the very highly matured feelings of Mother Divine for the children of the world. I'm thinking of total enlightenment to the mothers of the world.

'Total enlightenment for the mothers of the world, because in fully developed enlightenment alone, is the maturity of life. Life is matured when total enlightenment is awake in the consciousness. So when the parental role of Mother Divine, when the motherly role of nourishing the children has begun to be felt on the practical level of the world, we are today thinking of giving it a proper shape.

'On the level of Mother Divine we have one level, Raja Rajeshwari (administrator of ladies' programmes of the Global Country of World Peace), and the other level, Mother Divine level. Raja Rajeshwari level is the very matured level of Mother Divine; and Mother Divine level is matured in itself, like the Purusha level.

'Purusha level have in their awareness: Purusha of 192 countries. Like that, today, on this 26th anniversary of Mother Divine, we are going to set up an organizational structure.'

Maharishi said that in this organizational structure, 'we will frame channels through which Mother Divine will promote enlightenment in the world of mothers. Total enlightenment. Now my job is to create an organizational structure for Mother Divine, so that it is an extra joy to Mother Divine. . . .

'I am putting forward a programme for Mother Divine: they will have a new area of recreation for themselves, and that will be one hour a week, or two hours a week.' Maharishi said that, just as each of 192 Purusha has a country to himself, in a similar way, there would be one country for one Mother Divine—'absolutely fulfilment of the requirement'.

Maharishi continued, 'There are some small, small countries, there are a little bigger countries: so we'll have a country for a Mother Divine. And how will the entertainment of Mother Divine be through adopting a country? You will soon have the name of the country, population of each country; and half the population will belong to the mothers' side, and the other half is for the other people.

'So half the population of one country will receive the blessings of one Mother Divine, once a week or twice a week. Mother Divine will have maps of the countries on paper, and they'll have maps of the countries on video screens.

'Each Mother Divine will have a video screen which will indicate so much population, so much distances. So this is the material through which Mother Divine will channel her nourishing role to that many Mother Divines in that country, in that country, in that country.'

Maharishi said that each would have a notebook and computer, and 'within a few days, within a few weeks, within a few months, spending one hour a week, or two hours a week, they'll have their nourishing vision on that many people of that country. ''That many people'' means they'll deal with half the population. Birds of the same feather flock together.

'So Purusha will have the men's side of the world. Mother Divine will have the mother side of the world.

'This will be a record indicating rising richness of life in the ladies of the world, of her country.

'The work will be that, one or two hours a week, [each] Mother Divine will send a letter—one Mother Divine, or all Mother Divine will send the same letter—to her individual country.

'And to whom will the letters be addressed? The letters will be addressed to the mothers in the house of the President, house of the Prime Minister, Health Minister, the same letter. One letter will be sent to maybe 20 people in the country.

'One week [one letter]; after that another letter, after that another letter. I'll give to Mother Divine some idea [for the] first letter, second letter, third letter. . . .

'Just simply emailing to the important mothers, who take delight in nourishing their people; but they don't know how much they can inspire their office in the government for education, for health, for agriculture, for all the 12 areas. There are 12 areas; so in about 12 weeks, or 24 weeks, all the kind offers of every Mother of the world, Mother of the country, will reach the important ladies of the country. In that [way] we will inspire [them] to have ladies' education, ladies' health care, training of ladies' doctors.
