During the grand global celebration of the Global Country of World Peace on the auspicious full-moon day of Guru Purnima, 29 July 2007, Lebanon was one of 140 countries around the world in which ceremonies were held to lay the foundation stone for a Tower of Invincibility.

A large celebration was held on land recently acquired by the Global Country of World Peace, laying the foundation stone of a majestic Tower of Invincibility to crown Lebanon with invincibility, in the presence of 200 participants including dignitaries of the country, top educators, health professionals, and the revered Mayor of the town who gave a very positive and supportive speech. The mayor expressed his appreciation of the inspiring projects of the Global Country of World Peace worldwide.

The celebration began with the Lebanese National Anthem and a beautiful performance of music and poetry, followed by Guru Puja (traditional ceremony of gratitude to the Masters of the Vedic tradition of knowledge), and the National Anthem of the Global Country of World Peace. The ground-breaking ceremony was performed according to the procedures of Vedic Architecture, and everybody joyfully expressed their good wishes for the future of Lebanon and the world.

Top scientists and doctors in the country gave very inspiring speeches, including Dr Issam Jawahari, a highly-revered educator who had been the director of the Lebanese National Institute of Education for many years; Dr Tony Licha, a famous cardiologist and expert in different modalities of complementary medicine; Dr Adel Abu Assi, a leading pediatrician and medical director of the Holistic Health Center of Lebanon; and Dr Samer Aridi, a leading expert in Maharishi Vedic Medicine.

The audience also enjoyed beautiful speeches by the directors of of
Maharishi's Centres of Invincibility in Lebanon, including Mr Salim Haddad, Mr Salam Ballout, Mrs Nahila Shami, Mr Khalil Abi Shebl, and Mr Ziad Dakdouk.

The ceremony concluded with the raising of the flag of Invincibility and world peace while everyone enjoyed the powerfully harmonizing sounds of Vedic recitation and basked in the joy and fulfilment of this historic day. The celebration closed with these inspiring words:

'With the grace of our Vedic Masters, now our country is going to bask in the sunshine of invincibility. Our sovereignty will be invincible. Our people will be free from negativity and enjoy all positivity. Affluence, integrity, fullness will prevail in our national consciousness. This is what we have laid out as our objective of doing Puja to Guru Dev*, and this is our message to our people—that the days of negativity and conflict are over and the days of positivity and invincibility and freedom are our guiding light—and we'll proceed on the path of full enlightenment, and create permanent peace in our Family of Nations, God realization and all good to all mankind. The World is My Family, the World is Our Family, is our clarion call of today, the day of Invincibility for Every nation.'
