Dr Dean Dodrill, Raja (Administrator) of Washington, DC for the Global Country of World Peace, recently shared good news about Maharishi Central University, now taking shape at the Brahmasthan—geographical centre—of the United States. 'We have just acquired the actual Brahmasthan land in Kansas,' he reported, adding that other tracts of land nearby had already been purchased. He said that Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Global Reconstruction of the Global Country of World Peace, is creating a master plan for the whole campus and each building.

The university campus will have 50 college campuses, one for each state in the country, clustered in groups; and they are establishing foundations for several buildings now. Dr Dodrill observed that the superstructures will be going up quickly as each foundation is in place, and that roads are being constructed. They have hired a Kansas engineering firm to confer with Dr Hartmann and create detailed engineering drawings.

He described the land: gently and gradually sloping, with 'a flat area of east-facing terraces and a large pond on the northeast side', and beautiful views of some recently-harvested crops and native flowers alive with butterflies—'a wonderful scene at the Brahmasthan of the United States'.
