Raja Dean Dodrill reported to the Maharishi Global Family Chat from the Brahmasthan (geographical centre point) of the United States of America, in central Kansas, on the planning and construction in progress at the site of the new Maharishi Central University in Washington County and Smith Center, Kansas.
Raja Dean, the Raja of Washington, DC, who is lending his great expertise in construction and finance to this project, reported that the land the Global Country of World Peace has purchased is now under development for most of the campus, and that they had just broken ground for the first foundation for the first set of buildings.
On 20 April, Akshaya Tritiya, the auspicious Day of Lasting Achievements in the Vedic Calendar, they laid the first foundation stones deep in the earth for the first building. A construction crew and machinery are on site, preparing the land.
The property has been surveyed by Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Architecture and City Planning of the Global Country of World Peace, and Dr Roger Audet, Surveyor General of the Global Country, to lay out all of these buildings in a glorious campus that will house 50 smaller campuses—one grand university complex comprising 300 buildings total.
Each of the campuses will house students from different parts of the US and the world. The current construction is for the first wave of 10,000 students to come and enjoy the environment and opportunity to gain Total Knowledge through the curriculum that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the Founder ofthe Global Country of World Peace, has personally designed. There are plans to expand even further beyond this initial wave of campuses, so that when the whole project is completed even more land will be sought for expansion in the immediate vicinity.
