Cyprus authorities welcome plans for Vedic Pandits
by Global Good News staff writer

26 January 2007
The National Leader of the Trancendental Meditation Programme in Turkey reported that the authorities in northern Cyprus have welcomed the plan to bring 100 Vedic Pandits to their nation, and have offered to help provide suitable land for the group by either selling or leasing land at very little cost. He presented this good news on Maharishi's Global Family Chat on 24 January.
In addition to the support of the authorities in Cyprus, a generous well-wisher of peace and invincibility has offered his support to the project to bring instant invincibility—and health, wealth and happiness—to everyone in the country.
One hundred Vedic Pandits is the number needed to create invincibility for the entire island of Cyprus, and this group will have a unifying influence on northern Cyprus—Turkish Cyprus, and southern Cyprus—Greek Cyprus.
Located in the Mediterranean Sea near Turkey and Syria, at the crossroads to the Middle East, the group of Vedic Pandits on the island will be situated in a very powerful position to have a positive influence on the whole Middle East, and help create peace throughout the region.
