Today is the 12th day of the eighth month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

23 November 2006

NRC Handelsblad: 'Dutch industry remains optimistic' - Expectations about the future of the Dutch industry remained high in November, matching the record high of October, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics. Entrepreneurs are especially happy with order levels, which increased once again in November. Most entrepreneurs think they will have to hire more personnel in the coming three months.

De Telegraaf: 'New EU patent for innovation' Europe is lagging behind the United States and Japan when it comes to innovation, research, and patents. The main reason is that obtaining European patents involves a highly complex and expensive legal system. Holland, which is already one of the top European nations in terms of patent applicants, is now taking a leading role to facilitate a better European patent system.

De Telegraaf: 'Election outcome does not matter' - Holland has become invincible. Scientists and analysts conclude that Holland's political colour does not matter. Politics in Holland are not steering the economy; we are an exporting and importing nation, and are dependent on the international economic climate. If anything, there is only one fundamental problem in our economy, that politics can't help, and that is the productivity crisis. In order for Dutch industry to be competitive, Holland needs to put emphasis on increasing productivity.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Business traffic increases revenues in the hotel and catering industry. Foreign tourists contribute to growth in third quarter' - The hotel and catering industry had 4.5 per cent higher revenues this year than in the third quarter of last year. Hotels especially profited, with a 6 per cent increase. The number of bankruptcies in this sector has continued to decrease, quarter after quarter.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Auditors to become 40 per cent less expensive' - Accountants have become strangled in an enormous number of rules and regulations, especially since the American Sarbanes-Oxley legislation passed in 2002 in response to major US corporate accounting scandals added enhanced standards for corporate boards, management, and public accounting firms. Fear of coming under legal scrutiny has become the dominant attitude, and customers have noticed it reflected on their invoices in the form of higher fees. However, according to Dutch business leader Jan Hommen, a turn-around is now expected.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Number of passengers at Schiphol increases with 3 per cent' - In October the number of passengers at Holland's Schiphol airport increased by 3 per cent. In the first ten months of the year, there was a 4.1 per cent increase. Freight traffic grew in October by 7.1 per cent.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
