Today is the 3rd day of the eighth month of national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

14 November 2006

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'EU wants costs from administration down one quarter' - European Commission wants to diminish administrative costs for companies in the EU by one quarter in 2013.

De Telegraaf: 'KLM spends €100 million for extra comfort' - KLM wants to enhance the comfort of their passengers by at least 10 per cent, and is going to invest in more seats, better luggage handling, and better food. Business class passengers would even get meals prepared by French chefs who have been awarded the prestigious Michelin stars, an exclusive ranking of the finest in travel and tourism.

Trouw: 'Campaign against obesity. Site about healthy food for children' - According to Minister Hoogervorst of Health, prevention of overweight has to start before birth. An internet site with information about healthy food and upbringing is now available to help future parents. The name of the site is 'Hello World'.

Trouw: 'Netherlands care for environment appears a nice export product' - Sixteen of the twenty most polluted cities in the world are in China, according to sustainability agency SenterNovem. The Chinese are increasingly struggling with pollution, which is increasing steeply due to their economic growth. The Chinese are very interested in Dutch expertise in this area. Dutch environmental consultants and technical companies are very welcome guests these days.

Trouw: 'New magazine puts healthy living in forefront' - The new magazine Goodies wants to connect with new 'culturally creative' consumer, who is interested in more conscious living, with the use of sustainable alternatives for food, travel etc. as well as how to enjoy life with the mainstream economy. The cultural creatives, as they are called, should not become an isolated group but the forerunners of the structurally changing society.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
