On 16 November 2006 The Star Tribune reported: 'Good vibrations are humming from Maharishi University in Fairfield, Iowa, to points all over the world.' It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of world peace.

The Star Tribune reported 'The vibes are unstoppable (and) we're embraced by peaceful feelings. Our creative juices are flowing. Our bank accounts are growing. Our neighborhoods are safer.'

The 'good vibes' are being provided by a growing group of around 1600 people practising Transcendental Meditation at the University.

Prof. John Hagelin, a theoretical physicist at Maharishi University [of Management], and organizer of the Transcendental Meditation experiment says the group meditation practice has resulted in a rise in the stock market, falling oil prices, and peace in Lebanon.

The Star Tribune stated that the proximity of Minneapolis to the site of this experiment gives Minneapolis, just 350 miles from Fairfield, an advantage in benefitting from the resulting collective coherence being created by the group meditation.

Like a pebble dropped in water creates waves that radiate outward and affect the entire pond, the influence of peace created in Fairfield by the assembly is having far-reaching effects on the nation and the entire world.

The article noted the dramatic shift in US foreign policy towards Lebanon that took place after the start of the Invincible America assembly, saying, 'By late July, US policymakers switched from being hawklike to peace-seekers in the region. Peace came; oil prices fell.'

The Star Tribune reported that as the numbers of participants increase day by day, more and more benefits on society at large will be seen. 'When you put two stereo speakers together, explained Hagelin, you don't get twice the sound, you get four times the sound. You put two TMers together, you get four times the positive action.'

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
