Today is the 23rd day of the seventh month of national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:
3 November 2006
NRC Handelsblad: 'Netherlands—a magazine nation. ''I see profundity coming back to magazines''' - Many people in Holland read magazines. Nowhere in the world do ladies' magazines reach as many readers as in Holland. The magazines have recently become more profound. The magazine 'Happinezz', which deals exclusively with topics such as wellness, spirituality, and well being, has been voted the magazine of the year.
Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Shop revenues in August increased by almost 10 per cent' - Revenues in August increased 9.7 per cent, according to Central Bureau of Statistics. Shops selling home decor products did best—with a 16 per cent revenue increase in August.
Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Euronext sees number of transactions rise by 28 per cent' - Euronext saw the number of transactions in October rise by 28.3 per cent to 18.8 million, making October the busiest month ever. Since beginning of the year, there have been 174 million stock transactions—35.9 per cent more than the year before. On the derivatives market Euronext.liffe, 618 million contracts have been traded, surpassing the total for 2005.
Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Sustainable soy for Campina' - Dairy Cooperation Campina has imported its first 10,000 tonnes of sustainably cultivated soy. According to the agreement with several environmental organizations, no natural areas have been destroyed for the cultivation of this soy. The Netherlands is the second largest importer of soy after China. Within five years, the entire quantity of soy that Campina utilises—150,000 tonnes—will be from sustainable sources.
NRC Handelsblad: 'All Soul's Day gives the deceased a place. Catholic Memorial Day for the deceased enlivened for the modern spiritual citizen' - All Soul's Day is rapidly gaining popularity in Holland. Although not a strong Dutch tradition—as it is in Catholic South America and Southern Europe—it is becoming a new trend in Holland. On this day, Churchyards are flooded with hundreds of people and hundreds of lights. The enthusiasm for this day has been attributed to the renewed interest in spirituality in Holland, where the traditional churches are losing ground.
Creating national invincibility
Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.
Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.
Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.
The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.
Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.
The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
