Today is the 20th day of the seventh month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

31 October 2006

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Vodafone supports good causes with annual salaries. Winners of World of Difference programme will be sponsored for a year to work on their own projects' - The telecom company, in the context of their strategic goal to do business in a responsible way, is offering five people the opportunity to work for a good cause for a year. The winners of the prize receive an annual salary of € 30.000 and an allowance for expenses of € 25.000.

The five projects are: an irrigation project in Guatemala and the Philippines, an orphanage programme in Zimbabwe, expansion and training of personnel in a Sierra Leone hospital, organic cultivation of Fair-trade label cashew nuts in Tanzania, and microcredit projects in Indonesia to be repayed through cultivation and protection of the environment.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Part-time work in the Netherlands remains far above rest of EU' - More people in Holland work part-time than in any other European Union nation. Forty-six per cent of Dutch citizens work part-time as compared to 18.4 per cent in the rest of the EU. In Holland, a high per centage of women work part-time jobs: 75 per cent versus 33 per cent for Europe.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Money for city children' - The Dutch Cabinet has reserved €32.5 million to give 25,000 families in large cities. The funds are intended to give these families extra support for raising their children. The money will go directly to seven cities in order to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy.

NRC Handelsblad: 'Employ nature to absorb shock of climate change' - Six large environmental organizations are behind an initiative to create nature preserves that will help restrict the effects of climate change. The idea is to allocate between € 15 - € 20 million annually for the creation of climate buffers: Natural areas that remain untouched and can absorb the shock of droughts, flooding, and storms.

NRC Handelsblad: 'Netherlands at top in terms of outsourcing' - The Netherlands is a front-runner in the outsourcing of product development to other countries. Knowledge-intensive activities such as research, development, and design take place abroad. Remarkably, the main reason for outsourcing is not cost reduction, but to access new markets and realize a strategy of internationalization.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
