Today is the 16th day of the seventh month of national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

27 October 2006

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'ASN Bank to give more attention to questions of human rights' - Idealistic bank ASN will focus—in addition to energy, climate change, and animal testing—on human rights. The bank has developed criteria for human rights, and will encourage pension funds and other banks that it does business with, to increase attention on human rights situations in companies with which the other banks work.

De Telegraaf: 'Action plan against litter' - The Association of Netherlands Communities Employers organization, VNO-NCW, and the Deputy Minister of Environment, van Geel, agreed upon a new plan to make Holland cleaner. € 48 million will be allocated for litter removal.

De Telegraaf: Durable goods purchases continued to rise in July to 1.6 per cent higher than July 2005.

Trouw: 'Stop watching and take action. Van Vollenhove: Citizens have to show their heroism again' - Citizens need to stop being passive spectators of violence on the streets. They have to take responsibility and take action, according to Pieter van Vollenhove, chairman of the Foundation Society, Safety and Police, and husband to one of Holland's princesses.

Trouw: 'Flower auctions merge to beat competition. FloraHolland and Flower Auction Aalsmeer combine their forces. Although they are already number one and two in the world, the emerging competition from Asia and Russia makes a merger necessary.' The new name will be FloraHolland and will have revenues of € 3.7 billion.

Trouw: 'Netherlands takes initiative in offensive against Iceland' - The Netherlands took the initiative in a diplomatic offensive against Iceland's decision to reinstate whaling despite international treaties against it.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
