Today is the 13th day of the sixth month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

24 September 2006

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Free parking for cars on natural gas' - The city of Leeuwarden offers free parking for up to 40 cars that drive on natural gas in order to stimulate the use of alternative fuels. The city government also subsidies 40 citizens with € 1000 for installation of natural gas.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Energy savings can yield billions of Euros' - Many energy saving measures are not only good for the environment but also for the health of employees. Employers could save billions of Euros annually due to the better office climate provided through energy-saving procedures, according to a study by SenterNovem.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Being of value to society. DeLoitte, as one of the first in its sector presents a social report' - DeLoitte, one of Holland's largest auditing firms, presented a report on social responsibility. They gave three reasons for writing the report: First, society has become critical about auditors and tax lawyers, we not only have to be honourable but we also have to give a full accounting. Second, we want to be an attractive employer. Third, our customers asked us what we were doing about societal responsibility.

Trouw: 'Free book should get Holland reading again' - To stimulate reading, and also to enhance the social cohesion by encouraging a social debate about the book, which also is relevant for current societal relationships, 575,000 copies of the book 'Double Play' will be given for free.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'The air above Holland has become much cleaner' - New calculations by the Environment and Nature Planning Bureau show that virtually all of Holland will comply with the European norms within a few years. According to State Secretary for the Environment and Sustainability Pieter van Geel this is an enormous improvement.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
