Today is the 9th day of the sixth month of national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:
20 September 2006
Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Rabo in clean energy' - Rabobank and Robeco are offering a fund to invest in clean technology, such as water purification and green energy. The 'Clean Tech private Equity II', will be aimed at non-listed companies with an investment size of € 500 million. Several institutional investors have expressed an interest and there is already a pre-placement of 30%.
De Telegraaf: 'Rotterdam: six hours extra lessons per week. Student longer in the classroom' - Rotterdam is going to extend classroom time for thousands of children in elementary and secondary levels. This is partly in order to encourage the educational level of the Rotterdam children, (of whom 60% have learning disadvantages) to rise and it also prevents children from being out on the street unnecessarily.
Trouw: 'Crown Princess Maxima receives Bjorn Loborg's plans for a better Holland' - The controversial Danish statistician Bjorn Lomborg wrote a new book 'Thirty plans for a better Holland' which will be received by Princess Maxima. He is controversial because he uses an unconventional approach. Some of his plans are: Link people at the lowest end of society to a social mentor; support poor children with an extra allowance; create more apprenticeship places for high school and college students. Longer term plans would be: Make volunteer work a duty of every citizen, and teach citizens about sustainable food production.
Trouw: 'Politics should be involved with religion' - Trend watcher Adjiedj Bakas notes that religion and spirituality are found to be increasingly important. Many political parties are missing this trend. He presented his book 'The future of God' and describes how religion and spirituality all over Europe are seeing a revival. This is not in line with the mainly secular political parties that are currently in charge.
De Telegraaf: 'Natural bacterium killer' - Scientists from the University of Utrecht have found how a certain antibiotic found in nature works. This presents an opportunity to develop new antibiotics, now necessary due to bacteria becoming increasingly resistant to modern medicine.
Creating national invincibility
Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.
Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.
Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.
The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.
Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.
The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
