Today is the 6th day of the sixth month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

17 September 2006

De Telegraaf: 'Temp agencies maintain growth spurt' - Temporary employment agency income is still on the rise. The second half of July and the first half of August saw revenues increase by 16%. Central Bureau Statistics (CBS) economist Vergeer notes that at a certain point in economic boom employers are going to opt for fixed employment contracts. But we are not there yet, according to him, signifying further growth.

Trouw: 'Ploughed fields ought to muffle noise of airplanes' - Research Institute TNO studies whether ploughed fields can lower the noise level in the vicinity of the Schiphol airport. The sound waves could be absorbed by the ground, and therefore not carry as far.

Trouw: 'Eighteen towns were car-free last Sunday' - Three more cities participated in the car-free Sunday as compared to last year. The day is organized by environmental groups to highlight the negative impact of driving a car (noise, air pollution, gas, etc.) on the environment.

Trouw: 'Amsterdam has fewer students who drop out of school' - Amsterdam expected 15,000 dropouts based on a national study. Instead, the result was 30% fewer, only 10,000.

Trouw: 'Employees will become more mobile in the office of the future' - 'Living Tomorrow', an exhibition of the future workplace, showed that work can be done at any place, at any time, and in any environment in the near future.

Trouw: 'Manifest of artists for freedom of speech' - 'Freedom of speech should be as non-negotiable as equality', is the title of the manifest artists gave to the political leaders of all parties. According to the group, the Constitution would need to be adapted to make that possible.

Trouw: 'Support for people with minimum income is larger than expected' - Municipalities spend 10% more on controlling poverty than was expected, national government figures reported. The national government has been lowering its spending for special support, but towns have found other resources to help people with the lowest incomes.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
