Today is the 6th day of the third month of Canadian national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

6 September 2006

The Toronto Star - Buyers smash vehicle sales record (6 September 2006)

The strong performance, which surprised some analysts, easily topped the previous auto sales record for August....It also pushed the industry slightly ahead of last year's sales pace.

The Globe and Mail - Bankruptcies decline in July (6 September 2006)

Both personal and business bankruptcies were down in July from June. And both figures are down for the first seven months of this year compared with last year.

The Toronto Star - Banks cut mortgage rates as bond market costs fall (6 September 2006)

Most of Canada's big banks are cutting long-term residential mortgage rates by up to a tenth of a point, thanks to the lower cost of borrowing in the bond market.

The Globe and Mail - More employees in line for bonuses (5 September 2006)

...the Toronto-based Hay Group report on 2007 compensation projections found that 91 per cent of private sector employers and two-thirds of public sector employers plan to offer bonuses, in addition to base pay increases, next year.

Karl Aboud, the Hay Group's national director of rewards management said ...'Today, essentially all employees are eligible for bonuses.' He also said that base wage increases have averaged 3 per cent a year for the past 15 years.

This year, 'there is enough optimism that the forecasted salary increases are showing stronger growth than they have in the recent past,' Mr Aboud said.

The National Post - Mutual fund assets pass $600B mark (6 September 2006)

The Canadian mutual fund industry's total assets for August are estimated at between $606-billion and $611-billion, putting them in near-record territory.

New net mutual fund sales for the month of August came in at an estimated $700-million....

'Given that August has traditionally been an unpredictable month...this is a strong showing for the mutual fund industry,' Joanne De Laurentiis, president and chief executive of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada, said.

The Toronto Star - Lending rate steady at 4.25% (6 September 2006)

The Bank of Canada says it will keep its key lending rate unchanged at 4.25 per cent.

The central bank says the country's economic performance is still in line with its expectations.

... strong commodity prices, particularly for oil and natural gas, have mitigated the weak export picture.

The central bank is also keeping a close eye on Canada's booming housing market.

These are a few of the news reports reflecting Canada's rising invincibility from the growing Yogic Flying groups across Canada.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in Canada, the Netherlands, United States, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
