Columnist John McCaslin featured Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's warning to government officials regarding the layout of the buildings in which they work in a segment entitled, 'Call an architect'. McCaslin quoted Maharishi as saying, '. . . the direction of the entrance of the office building or residence produces an influence of happiness, harmony, and cordiality - or conflict and problems - for the people'.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of world peace.
MsCaslin said that Maharishi cited scientific research which indicates brain neurons fire more coherently when a person faces east. This firing of the brain neurons, Maharishi said, 'is the basis of how coherently (a person) thinks and behaves'.
McCaslin noted that President Bush greets all visiting heads of state at the south door to the White House, although he did observe that the front door to the US Capitol faces due east, as does the main entrance to the Oval Office.
Maharishi says a proper entrance to the east will bring harmony and success to the government, while an improper entrance to the south—Mr. Bush greets all visiting Heads of State at the south door to the White House—or west—will be the unseen cause of a great deal of governmental problems, unrest, and failures.
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
