On 21 August 2005 Deccan Herald reported:
Dr John Hagelin, President of the US Peace Government and renowned quantum physicist, offered US President Bush advice for creating world peace: Close off the south-facing entrances to the White House. According to Indian newspaper, The Deccan Herald, Hagelin attributes this discovery to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's updated understanding of India's traditional science of Vedic Architecture.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of world peace.
Hagelin explained that 'South-facing entrances are having deleterious effects on their brain functioning and orderliness of thinking.'
Hagelin also encouraged India's government to move from their current Parliament building, because of its inauspicious entrances.
'Divisive and destructive government policies will become more coherent and harmonious overnight if government leaders live and work in buildings that are properly designed according to the principles of ancient Vedic Architecture in harmony with natural law,' Hagelin was quoted as saying.
The article noted that, 'About one billion dollars have been invested in the design and construction of Vedic homes and office buildings worldwide in the past decade.'
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
