Groups of peace-creating Yogic Flyers will promote coherent world consciousness and end the destruction of life on earth

May 4, 2004 -- His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi proclaimed during an historic news conference last week that large groups of peace-creating Yogic Flyers, now being established throughout the world, will create peace on earth within a few months. Maharishi said the Yogic Flyers will promote coherence in world consciousness and change the trends of life from destruction to peace.

'The world must change--it cannot continue for long under the threat of fear and destruction,' Maharishi said during his April 28 global news conference. 'So remember today's date. Within a few months, the press will report a new mood of peace and freedom from fear throughout the world as the coherence rises in world consciousness.'

Maharishi's news conference was broadcast live to the press on all continents via global satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland. Maharishi will hold his next news conferences on May 5 and 6.

Maharishi's proclamation came only one week after he declared it was 'now or never' to save the world. Immediately following Maharishi's call for action, leaders of his Global Country of World Peace began assembling groups of Yogic Flyers to create coherence and order in the disorderly atmosphere of the world.

Maharishi emphasised that the global transformation will be peaceful: 'We are not waging a war against darkness--we are peacefully bringing the light. Then all the difficulties created by darkness will simply vanish.'

Yogic Flyers will create peace from the Unified Field

Maharishi explained that the peace-creating groups will promote a coherent influence from the most basic level of life. 'The Yogic Flyers will enliven the Unified Field--the self-referral field of consciousness within everyone,' Maharishi said. 'This is the field of total Natural Law, the light of God, which promotes the evolution of the universe as a whole while simultaneously promoting the evolution of everyone and everything in the universe, from point to infinity.'

Governments invited to create coherent national consciousness

Maharishi said that every government is invited to utilise the knowledge and programs of the Global Country of World Peace to create coherent national consciousness and rise to invincibility, self-sufficiency, and affluence.

However, Maharishi emphasised, the time to talk about peace is over--now is the time to take action and create peace within a few months. For this, the Global Country of World Peace is quickly establishing large groups of Yogic Flyers throughout the world.

The Global Country of World Peace is also establishing Peace Palaces and Vedic Universities, Colleges, and Schools in every major city to offer the total knowledge of Natural Law and raise the whole population to enlightenment. In India, the group of Yogic Flyers will also be expert in the recitation of Vedic sounds-the sounds of the transcendental field of total Natural Law within the Self of everyone. 'Both Yogic Flying and Vedic recitations will create coherence and harmony in world consciousness,' Maharishi said.

Global Country of World Peace will fulfil the goal of globalisation

Maharishi also said that the Global Country of World Peace will fulfil the goal of globalisation. 'Now is the time when the spirit of globalisation is rising in the world--along with the hope that there will be one global administration that can harmonise the differences that dominate relationships between nations,' Maharishi said. 'The world is fortunate to have the Global Country of World Peace to fulfil this desire. The Global Country of World Peace will administer society from the level of the Unified Field, the field of consciousness, where differences are not important.'

It won't take long to create a peaceful world

Maharishi concluded by again emphasising it won't take long to create a peaceful world. 'Through the total knowledge of Natural Law, we are going to enlighten the world in the same way as one little candle light is enough to eliminate the darkness. Then all the hardships of darkness will simply disappear. It won't take much time--just a few months,' Maharishi said.
