Global Country of World Peace to celebrate inauguration of the First Year of Global Raam Raj, 12 January 2008

On 12 January 2008, the Global Country of World Peace will inaugurate the First Year of Global Raam Raj in a grand global celebration.

The live broadcast of the global celebration in MERU, Holland will begin at noon Central European Time (5:00 A.M. US Central Time), via satellite and also over the Internet on the Maharishi Channel – Channel 3.

One highlight of the day will be that leaders of the Global Country of World Peace in more than 48 countries will conduct ceremonies to raise the flag and lay the foundation stone for a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility in their country. One of the countries is India, the Land of the Veda, the source of the Vedic Tradition of Total Knowledge which is bringing invincibility to the world.

Starting in New Zealand, the ceremonies will begin at noon in each location around the world, and will include Puja to Guru Dev*, raising the flag and laying the Foundation Stone for the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility, Vedic recitation, speeches, music, and a celebratory banquet.

The Maharishi Towers of Invincibility are a gift to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, from all the Rajas (Administrators) of the Global Country, in honour of Maharishi's having achieved the supreme goal of irreversible global invincibility.

The Maharishi Towers of Invincibility will be, in Maharishi's words, a perpetual 'memorial of the achievement of global invincibility in this generation, a global shrine of invincibility that will be a pilgrimage place for all the generations to come'.
