On 25 February 2019 Reuters reported: Roughly half of U.S. adults suffer from sleep problems, and research suggests that many of them are practicing mind-body exercises like yoga and meditation that might help make it easier to get a good nights' rest. One approach with a proven track record is what's known as Transcendental Meditation, which has been shown to ease sleep disorders with a psychological component, said Sanford Nidich, director of the Center for Social and Emotional Health at the Maharishi University of Management Research Institute in Fairfield, Iowa, who wasn't involved in the study, by email. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of health.
'This [Transcendental Meditation] can easily and effortlessly be practiced in one's own home or office twice a day for twenty-minutes,' Nidich said.
