In a special weekly series, 'Getting and Giving Relief from PTSD', Krystalya Marie of African radio A2Zen.fm, interviews scientists researching the effectiveness of Transcendental Meditation in reducing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The 10-part series features interviews of individuals as diverse as African refugees, veterans with PTSD, university students, and various experts in PTSD-reduction programmes at African PTSD relief and the David Lynch Foundation.
In the November 23 broadcast Krystalya Marie's special guest David Shapiro, Founder and President of PTSD Relief Now, talked about initial research on the effectiveness of TM for PTSD and how it led to the founding of the PTSD Relief Now organization.
