Maharishi Ayurveda Association of America presents:

AYURVEDA
Wellness Educator Training

Expand your knowledge of health and wellness by learning the principles and practice of Ayurveda, the world's oldest system of natural health care.

∙ A 56 hour course divided into 4 online Modules—see curriculum here
∙ Optional live module attendance available at three locations
∙ Taught by medical doctors with over 25 years of experience in Maharishi Ayurveda
∙ Certificate of completion provided by the Maharishi Ayurveda Association of America
∙ Further programs to train as Ayurveda patient educators and health coaches are also available to graduates of the Wellness Educator Course—click here

The Maharishi Ayurveda Wellness Educator Training Program trains participants to apply Ayurvedic knowledge to advise others in developing a personalized approach to health and wellness. They may also take the program for their own enrichment and knowledge.

As Ayurveda Wellness Educators, participants will learn classical Ayurvedic pulse reading and other traditional methods to help determine an individual's constitution and state of balance. They will learn to educate individuals in a broad range of natural health modalities—including personalized diet, herbal food supplements, aroma therapy, meditation, yoga asanas, exercise, rejuvenation and daily routine.

Ayurveda Wellness Educators may function in a variety of settings, including as assistants to physicians and integrative medicine practitioners. They may also take additional training for certification as Ayurveda health coaches (see below) and, where local regulations permit, set up an independent coaching practice.

Curriculum Development
The course is based on Maharishi Ayurveda—a comprehensive modern formulation of this ancient science in accord with the classical texts. The course is the result of over 25 years of collaboration of researchers, modern medical doctors, and leading Ayurvedic physicians (Vaidyas) under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The course curriculum was prepared by Vaidyas and modern physicians with extensive experience using Ayurveda in clinical practice.
