29 August 2013
'Save the date': The David Lynch Foundation will hold the fifth annual ''Change Begins Within'' benefit evening on Tuesday, December 3, at the Conrad Hotel in New York City.
The event will honor Salvatore Cassano, Commissioner of the legendary New York City Fire Department (FDNY), along with actor Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
David Lynch and Jerry Seinfeld will co-host the evening.
The benefit will raise funds to teach Transcendental Meditation to 1,000 New York City veterans and first responders—to help these courageous men and women overcome the nightmare of post-traumatic stress.
Last December's fourth annual Change Begins Within benefit gala was the ''Historic Night of Jazz'', held at Lincoln Center in New York and hosted by George Stephanopoulos, featuring jazz greats Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding, and others.
For more information about the upcoming December 3 benefit at the Conrad Hotel, contact Event Associates: Tel: +212-245-6570 Email: changebeginswithin@eventassociatesinc.com
