Tara Schmid, a Maharishi Vedic Science PhD student, and alumni Ayala Melzer and Barbara Ringwalt studied the use of aroma oils and integrated the knowledge of aroma therapy with Ayurveda and Yoga.
The course was taught by Rosie Geelvink, PhD, Vaidya Pratmesh Vyas, and Vaidya Arora. (Vaidyas are expert Ayurvedic physicians from India.)
A project is currently underway by the course participants to gather research on the effectiveness of aroma therapy in various areas of illness.
