Gina Orange grew up in Fairfield and learned the Transcendental Meditation technique at the age of four. An early interest in Maharishi Ayurveda health care continued while attending Maharishi School and Maharishi University of Management (MUM). Gina majored in business to broaden her education, receiving her BA in 1999.
In 2001, Gina completed the Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course and taught the Transcendental Meditation technique to at-risk youth in schools through the David Lynch Foundation. She also developed a Consciousness-Based Education curriculum for Rajapark College in Thailand and the International Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education.
Returning to MUM, she completed her MA in education in 2012. During her studies she reconnected with her interest in Maharishi Ayurveda and created a health and wellness program for schools. She also worked with the Physiology and Health department and designed and co-taught a seminar on Ayurveda and weight management with Dr. Paul Morehead.
Gina is currently training to become a certified Maharishi Ayurveda health consultant.
