A large study of Blue Cross health insurance statistics in the USA tracked 2000 Transcendental Meditation technique practitioners for five years. The results showed 50% fewer doctors visits and a 56% reduction in hospital visits. For those over 40, the reduction in hospital visits was more than 70%.
The study further found that hospitalization for those practising Transcendental Meditation was 87% less for heart disease, 55% less for cancer, and 73% less for respiratory problems. Read more.
