People in Japan are very receptive to Maharishi Ayurveda, according to an administrator involved in this unique ancient and scientific form of natural health care.
2011 has been a busy year, full of advancements and developments, he said.
One such development was the recent tour by Dr Manohar Palakurthi, a leading Maharishi Ayurveda Vaidya (expert) from India. Dr Manohar gave many health consultations all across Japan.
Another advancement, said the administrator, is a new clinic in a pristine and scenic region of Japan.
'In October Dr Manohar and some of the local physicians opened a new Maharishi Ayurveda clinic at our facility in Nasu.'
A local physician who is trained in both traditional medicine and in Maharishi Ayurveda is the resident Vaidya there.
'All the very best Panchakarma [rejuvenation therapy] treatments are available there now,' said the administrator. 'Dr Manohar is planning to make this Japanese clinic a real forward-looking clinic where some of the most advanced and rare Ayurvedic treatments are going to be available.'
The availability of these rare and specialized treatments means this new Japanese clinic will be unique in the region, 'a kind of flagship Maharishi Ayurveda clinic'.
The administrator continued, 'There are also many beautiful sulfur hot springs located right around the clinic . . . so the patients can take advantage of that kind of treatment as well while they're there.'
In addition, the clinic is also offering Maharishi Light Therapy with Gems, a technology which uses light as the vehicle for projecting the orderly frequencies of gems to enliven the inner intelligence of the body .
'We've had thousands of people benefit from gem light therapy in Japan. It's very popular. Those modalities, along with aromatherapy, will be offered at this new clinic.'
