The celebration of perfect health for every individual and nation on 24 October brought attention and appreciation to the many programmes of Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health.
'Today we are enlivening all of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes that bring perfect health to every individual in the world,' said Dr Rainer Picha, Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace, during the celebration in MERU, Holland.
Dr Picha described programmes to train physicians and health experts in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care around the world. These include teaching and educational materials, as well as education programmes for Maharishi College of Perfect Health, developed by Dr Walter Molk, Deputy Minister of Health, working with Maharishi.
Maharishi Light Therapy with Gems is another approach of Maharishi Ayur-Veda, a technology that was developed over several decades with Maharishi's guidance, to bring the influence of the orderly structure of gems into the physiology, Dr Picha explained. A full package of technology and teaching materials has been developed by Joachim and Iris Roller. Two years ago they began training courses for people to learn how to administer this therapy; the sixth course will start in November.
The European branch of Maharishi Ayurveda Products (MAPE), based in Holland and led by managing director Shantanu Banerji, is one of several key organizations in different parts of the world which offer a wide range of pure, effective herbal products to help promote health and well-being.
Global Good News will continue featuring Dr Picha's address from 24 October.
