Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine announces programmes in Maharishi Vedic Medicine—a three-year fulltime or five-year parttime programme. This is a course to train practitioners of Maharishi Vedic Medicine, a natural, prevention-oriented health care system.
Maharishi Vedic Medicine is the timeless Vedic approach to health, brought to light by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, in conjunction with leading experts in Ayurvedic medicine and modern medicine.
Maharishi Vedic Medicine includes diagnosis and treatment modalities to bring mind, body, and behaviour in tune with Natural Law, for the natural prevention of disease and the promotion of longevity and perfect health.

The main textbook of the Bachelor of Science programme is Human Physiology: Expression of Veda and the Vedic Literature. A major theme of study is the body's eight major organ systems, all examined in the light of Vedic knowledge and modern medicine: ∙ Musculoskeletal system ∙ Cardiovascular and renal system ∙ Gastrointestinal system and metabolism ∙ Respiratory system ∙ Arcticular system ∙ Endocrine reproductive system, hematological and immunologic system ∙ Neurological systems
The Bachelor of Science in Maharishi Vedic Medicine includes all aspects of the basic medical principles and clinical practices in contemporary medicine and modern diagnosis that are without harmful side effects. Also included is an introduction to other natural medical systems such as traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy, naturopathy, osteopathy, chiropractic, and information and energy medicine.
