Many people feel they would like to experience living in Maharishi Vastu before they make the final decision to buy or build their own home according to this ancient knowledge of Vedic architecture.
Moving into a new home is a significant decision, and people often find that having a firsthand, personal experience of staying in a building designed according to Vastu principles makes the experience real to them.
There are several countries where Maharishi Vastu short-term rentals are currently available to fill this need—in the United States, in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, as well as in North Carolina; in Canada and Germany; and coming soon in New Zealand.
Photos and other details about these homes and buildings, including contact information, can be viewed at: Getting a Taste of Maharishi Vastu Living:
∙ Fairfield, Iowa: A guesthouse located in Abundance Ecovillage, an off-the-grid subdivision a mile from Maharishi University of Management and the Golden Domes.
∙ Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa: A hotel near the Maharishi Vedic Pandit campus.
∙ North Carolina: A cottage located in the beautiful resort area of Heavenly Mountain, in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains.
∙ Canada: A Bed and Breakfast on Salt Spring Island, close to Vancouver.
∙ Germany: A home in the town of Bad Essen.
∙ New Zealand: The Maharishi Spiritual Capital is adding a new 'accommodations' wing, expected to be completed in March 2011.
The MaharishiVastu.org website also has an interactive database of Maharishi Vastu properties available for rent or purchase.
