Following the historic first postgraduate Doctors Training Course in Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health, held in May 2009 in Japan, the course has now been offered this year in the USA, Hungary, Turkey, Serbia, Argentina, and other Latin American countries. Dr Walter Molk, Deputy Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace, and a Vaidya (expert Ayurvedic physician from India) will soon be teaching the course in Colombia and Brazil.
This curriculum is also being taught to medical doctors in the United States by Stuart Rothenberg, MD and Nancy Lonsdorf, MD in partnership with a large research institute, which has led to its being offered to many more course participants.
Dr Rainer Picha, Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace,* spoke on 27 July,** explaining that the mission of the Ministry of Health is to make the health programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi available all over the world to fulfil Maharishi's initiative to create a disease-free world.
The main key to accomplish this is through education, Dr Molk said: 'Maharishi's Curriculum of Perfect Health is the curriculum of the Constitution of the Universe, which follows the sequential unfolding of Natural Law in the human physiology as laid out in the discovery of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam.'
Dr Picha praised the global teams of doctors and Vaidyas (expert physicians in Maharishi Ayur-Veda from India) and all those working in the Ministry of Health. He also expressed his deep appreciation for Maharaja's direct and constant guidance for their progress and 'in a changing global market, to make sure that we function in a coherent and united way to achieve our goal of bringing perfect health to every home.'
* For his dedication and groundbreaking work in bringing Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health to the world, Dr Picha was awarded the gold Medal of Invincibility by Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaram during the continuiing Guru Purnima celebrations of the Global Country of World Peace on 26 July.
** Dr Picha spoke on the 27 July Maharishi Global Family Chat, which is broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
