18 June 2010
On 19 June 2010, Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine in Switzerland will begin offering a series of courses, including a new online format for students around the globe.
Bachelor's, Master's, Certificate, Advanced Training, and Self Health Care programmes are available as online part-time programmes.
Many students have already enrolled in the new programme, and they will enjoy such features as streaming lectures and interactive sessions with Vaidyas—experts in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care from India.
Courses are structured so that students can listen to lectures at their convenience, and also have all their questions answered by professors and Vaidyas. The interactive sessions are especially important when students are learning such aspects of Maharishi Ayur-Veda as self-pulse reading, said Raja Felix Kaegi, Raja of Invincible Switzerland for the Global Country of World Peace.
Raja Felix thanked Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA for their invaluable assistance, particularly technical support in recording lectures, etc.
Distance learning allows students from all over the world a more flexible academic calendar so that they can begin their studies almost anytime, at their convenience, he continued.
Students could also study at a local Maharishi Invincibility Centre** or academy where they could all practise the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying together before their lessons. This would be ideal, Raja Felix said.
* Raja Felix Kaegi's report was featured on the 9 June 2010 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
** Maharishi Invincibility Centres in major cities around the world offer the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to promote enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every nation through development of full potential in every area of life.
