Maharishi VedAroma essential oils are becoming recognized as a powerful tool for health and well-being. A course in VedAroma held earlier this month in France drew course participants from countries around the world, including Mexico, Canada, Australia, Germany, and France.
The course participants 'were really completely astounded . . . by the enormous potential of Maharishi VedAroma', said Dr Paul Gelderloos, administrator of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Holland, in a recent report about the course.
Before attending the course, Dr Gelderloos said he had thought of essential oils as 'something for wellness', something that creates a pleasant uplifting atmosphere.
He now understands them to be an effective treatment for ailments and diseases. However, he clarified, they are not necessarily a replacement for traditional medicine.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi laid out the knowledge of VedAroma within the structure of Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care, Dr Gelderloos explained. Every essential oil is analyzed in terms of its balancing and health-promoting effect on the physiology.
In addition to experts in VedAroma, course participants were fortunate to gain knowledge from two Vaidyas, experts in Maharishi Ayur-Veda from India, Dr Gelderloos said.
In the coming days, Global Good News will feature the continuation of Dr Gelderloos's report about the VedAroma course.
