In Japan, the twelve areas (including education, health, defence, and agriculture) administered by the Global Country of World Peace have seen significant progress and expansion in the past year. In the area of health, the first course in Maharishi Ayur-Veda natural health care was held for doctors, followed by a second advanced course. This group of doctors is being trained as leaders in Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health for the country.
Very successful education conferences were held in the major cities of Japan, with Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambaassador for Consciousness-Based Education, and a group of educators and scientists. As a result of these presentations, many schools, including two with over 3,000 students each, have begun the process of offering the Transcendental Meditation Programme to their students.
These students will form the basis of the initiative to create invincibility for Japan, through the formula established by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for every nation: large groups practising the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, together.
Raja John Konhaus, Raja of Japan for the Global Country of World Peace, commented that 2009 was a year of growth of unity and coherence, both in the countries of the Rajas' domains and in the organization that represents these countries. Speaking on 13 January, during the continuing global 12 January celebrations in MERU, Holland, and India, he said, 'This growth of unifying influence is the basis of all that we want to achieve.'
Raja Konhaus referred to Maharishi's principle that the government of a nation is a reflection of the collective consciousness of the population it represents. One sign of the rising quality of collective consciousness in Japan, resulting from the expansion of Maharishi's programmes, Raja Konhaus said, was that two senior government leaders have both learnt Transcendental Meditation.
Raja Konhaus concluded that the real growth this year in countries around the world has been that of silent administration. 'It's the key,' he said, 'to being able to accomplish what Maharishi has given us to accomplish. It is the organizing power of silence [from the field of total Natural Law] that precedes us every day when we act on Maharishi's behalf.'
In the coming days Global Good News will present Raja Konhaus's report about recent achievements in Hamsa (Hungary).
