Transcendental Meditation was recently featured for its health benefits in a major British magazine. Under the heading 'Life Changing Therapy - Transcendental Meditation', the article described how, through regular practice of Transcendental Meditation, a lady who had suffered from intense migraines for a year, never had another one.
The story was published in Woman's Own, which is one of the largest circulation women's magazines, said Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Great Britain for the Global Country of World Peace.* It was part of a double-page spread on natural approaches to helping various health disorders.
Entitled 'The migraine sorter', the article gives the comments of a 34 year old lady who suffered from severe migraines, which Raja Peter read out. She said she had 'read about TM [Transcendental Meditation] before, and I was interested in trying it. I had already cut down on caffeine, and tried all the usual things advisable for migraine sufferers, but it wasn't enough.
'I was certain stress was a factor,' she continued in the article, 'so I trained with . . . a teacher of Transcendental Meditation, to learn Transcendental Meditation.
'I felt some relief after the first weekend of training. I then began meditating twice a day, and I have not had a migraine since.
'It's a simple technique which is practised for 20 minutes twice a day. Your teacher shows you how . . . ', the lady explained in Woman's Own.
The article also features the national enquiry number for Transcendental Meditation and the website, Raja Peter said.
This kind of press report in a very large circulation magazine is significant, Raja Peter concluded. This lady had tried everything, and the only thing that helped her was Transcendental Meditation.
