Leaders of the special three-day programme of extended lectures recently held at the University of Athens, Greece, described highlights of this advanced seminar on Maharishi Ayur-Veda and the Transcendental Meditation Programme for medical doctors and students.
Dr Robert Schneider explained that Raja Ior Guglielmi, Raja of Invincible Greece, began the course by talking in terms of wholeness. Raja Ior's presentation 'was a wonderful introduction to the science of total health, the science of Unified Field Based Medicine, on its own terms,' said Dr Schneider.
Raja Ior presented the knowledge of the Veda in the language of the Veda (Sanskrit), describing how the mind-body types emerge from the field of Atma, the Self—how the five elements emerge as the basis of the human physiology and the whole universe. He also gave many details about the knowledge and health programmes of Maharishi Ayur-Veda.
In the report about the course, Raja Ior in turn described Dr Schneider's seminar presentation, which 'showed the depth of [his] knowledge and his insights into the connection between Maharishi Ayur-Veda and modern science.'
The scientific approach of Dr Schneider and Raja John Hagelin* made a very great impression, Raja Ior continued. Twenty-two students on this course learnt Transcendental Meditation, along with six professors, including one of the world's top scientists doing research on stress management.
Although modern science has brought great progress and evolution for mankind, Raja Ior commented, it also has some major side effects that have to be improved. He said the students in Athens very much appreciated the value of Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technologies of Consciousness.
Raja Ior also pointed out that Maharishi Ayur-Veda defines itself by the expression from the Vedic Literature, Ayurveda amritanam—'Ayurveda is for those who desire immortality'—which is a completely new perspective when we are living in a world of mortality, he said.
Through several examples, Raja Ior illustrated that the students in Athens really understood that a new perspective is coming from Maharishi's Vedic Science and Maharishi Ayur-Veda.
In the coming days Global Good News will feature a further article on this report about the three-day intensive course in Athens.
* World renowned quantum physicist Dr John Hagelin is Executive Director of the International Center for Invincible Defense in New York, Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace, and Raja of Invincible America.
