Various countries in Latin America have developed strong interest in Maharishi Ayur-Veda programmes, which has given rise to several developments in the areas of education and health.

Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on 24 March 2009 that there is a growing interest among several Latin America countries in products of Maharishi Ayur-Veda and Maharishi Ayur-Veda health centres and spas.

In three countries, including Argentina and Brazil, universities have expressed interest in incorporating Maharishi Vedic medicine into their curriculum.

'This is all part of a continent-wide trend towards a more holistic and preventive approach to health,' said Raja Luis, concluding his report.
